TGA Bake Sale

TGA sponsored a bake sale as a fundraiser and raised funds to go toward student council events and the 8th grade trip. Thanks to Mr. Kirshner and Mrs. Shalev for supervising the bake sale, Mrs. Littman for hosting a baking session in her home, and Sara J, Sarah K, Sarit, Vivian, Sydney, and Hannah for giving their own time and baking for the bake sale.  Thanks to Sarah K & Sarit for selling the goods.

TGA Trip to the Zoo

TGA students enjoyed a trip to the zoo. Students acted as docents, providing scientific background to many of the animals they encountered.  Thanks to Mrs. Fruhman for arranging the trip!

TGA Mystery Dinner

The Mystery Dinner involved  a script that was well-orchestrated, actresses who performed well, scenery that was creative and accurate, and a delicous dinner menu. The evening turned into a witty and fun event and was enjoyed by all.  Special thanks to the ninth and tenth graders for writing the script, creating the scenery,  and directing the program. Thanks to Ms. McNutt for arranging this outstanding evening.

Guest Speaker, Rabbi Menachem Zupnik

Rabbi Menachem Zupnik, Rav of Congregation Bais Torah U’tifilah  in Passaic, NJ, as a guest speaker at TGA.  Rabbi Zupnik facilitated a discussion on lessons from the Megillah.

Rosh Chodesh Adar at TGA

TGA students met on Sunday, Rosh Chodesh Adar to enjoy a brunch in honor of Rosh Chodesh. Students enjoyed a creative treasure hunt, created by Ariella Shalev. An interesting Dvar Torah was presented by Meira Nagel, while everyone enjoyed a delicious meal. The meal was followed by a chocolaty dessert, which required a lot of effort and fun to eat.
